Thanks for the replies.
Reason I ask is I just connected the firewire drive to back up some stuff and it's
not showing up on the desktop.
It's been a month or so since I used it last time - not sure if any settings got
changed or if it's time for a card juggle.
Was working flawlessly last time.
Extensions look fine and no changes there.
Re seated the MachFire card.
No reason for the cable to go bad - it's hardly used.
Must be PCI card voo-doo time.
The drive can't be seen by HDST either, so I'm guessing something's going on
either with the card or the cable,
