I have read numerous references on this list of folks running OS 10
on S900. I have tried to install it on mine without success. I used
XPostFacto and followed the instructions. That is: (1) bring up XPF;
(2) select the install CD as input; (3) point to the hard disk on
which to install.

After moving some files to the destination disk, XPF restarts the
machine. It never reboots. I can never reboot at all until I zap
PRAM. That, of course, brings its own set of hassles, resetting
mandate and other needed settings. So, rather than continuing
experimenting, I'd like to get some solid advice.

I would like to install on my roomy SCSI disk (through Miles U2W
card), but I also tried (unsuccessfully) installing on my original
IDE. Has anyone installed OS 10 on an S900 with pretty much original
equipment, except for G3 daughter card? I have the original Mashita
CR-506 CD-ROM, but a PowerLogix G3/500 processor upgrade. Does XPF
replace PRAM settings with special ones that wipe out any that
PowerLogix uses? I guess the relevant machine profile that I'd like
to hear if anyone has installed 10.1 on is:
        (1) S900/233
        (2) PowerLogix G3/500 processor upgrade
        (3) Mashita CR-506 CD-ROM
        (4) IDE disk OR SCSI U2W disk through Miles U2W card

Any guidance greatly appreciated.
