After much talking and searching on another list. It was clear that only the Beige G3 machine has the first 8 gb limitation. Apple has a note about it on their website. The VST card needs the 1 or 2 PCI slot other wise it doesn't play well with other cards. If you can live with that go for it. OWC recently had Acard ATA 66 cards on sale pulls/ referbs cheap. A better deal IMHO though may not work with as many CDRW drives. The Acard,SIGII, Sonnet ATA 133 card are great but usually more money.
