AppleVision is the Apple monitor of days gone by that used an ADB hookup to allow much of it's control settings to be done via the Monitors & Sound control panel. You don't need that extension if you don't have an AppleVision monitor. A/Rose is "Apple real-time operating system environment" and is only needed on older Nubus Macs.
