I should try and correct myself... I think the AppleVision extension is used
on other Apple monitors too (Colorsync Displays?), and perhaps the newer
flat panel displays from Apple too. Although I think "Apple Display
Software" replaced it for the flat panel displays.

So, I'll cover my butt and just say that if you don't have an Apple monitor,
you don't need the AppleVision extension.  =)
