I recently got the card and SoftRAID and and am testing RAID configurations (UltraTek66 vs. Tempo66; drivers on single disks; slots). I found the version 2.2.4 updater for OSX at OWC and a version 1.1.2 updater at Smartdisk support. I have the Ultratek card in an s900, also. I had problems after I updated the firmware using the Other World Computing updater. I was able to successfully "kludge" the OWC updater utility using resources from the Smartdisk updater, to flash the card "downward" -- that is, _back_ to firmware version 1.1.2. I have found the Smartdisk 1.1.2 firmware to work very well with "non-X" OS'es. If you want to experiment with 2.2.4, go ahead, but if you start getting mysterious lock-ups, etc., you may want to "flash back down".
