You might try to get a copy of MacLink Plus. This is a pretty good 
file-type translator. You might be able to drag an image from the cd 
to a MacLink alias or open an image from within the MacLink app and 
save it to your desktop. MacLink will give you a list of apps that 
you have, to try and open the image with. Another possibility is a 
shareware program that is worth its price if you work with images-you 
can download it and try it free: Graphic Converter-
