Hi Alan;

 From how you described it, the messages seem the same as the spam I
have been getting. Even the subject fields are the same. They came in
a flood starting Sunday.

The spammers are clever. There is a web page on Eudora ( and other
mail clients) filtering that has details. I will have to find it
again.
The Title of the article is "Where Does Spam Come From?"
by Kaitlin Duck Sherwood. Googling ( should that be a word?)should find it.

I use Eudora 5.1, and I seem to have noticed that after my filter has
trashed a particular piece of spam, a mailbox for that spam has been
created in Eudora. I have to check more closely since that does not
seem logical.

There are "x-eudora-setting URL's", which may have been hacked some
how. But thats beyond me, <:-(.

My email traffic is not high enough to justify ISP filtering,
although my ISP offers it.

Ernie
