Hello Bolton,
Thanks for the info but I am running OS9.1, not OSX. Given that I am 
having problems with OS(.1 I dont dare to make matters worse by trying 
to go to OSX at this stage. STill no success, and the only way I can get 
an operable system is to ZAP the PRAM each time. Not an elegant 
solution.

I have dumped some of the PRAM contents during a bad screen session and 
a good screen session. This has confirmed that something (Sonnet 
Firmware?) is setting the PRAM to a value that the iXMicro card does not 
like. Still waiting for more responses from Sonnet.

BTW, is anyone out there running a Sonnet G4 800Mhz card on an S900? If 
so what video cards are being used?
