My experience with the Sonnet is with the G3/450, so I don't know if this is relevant to you, but...
I was having all kinds of problems until I disabled the Sonnet Processor Upgrade extension. Unfortunately, that also disabled the backside cache! Fortunately, there was an easy solution: I downloaded the free software from PowerLogix called G3/G4 cache profiler for OS 9.x (I'm not sure about 8.x) and CacheControlX for OS X. Since then, the problems I had are gone and everything works fine. I would recommend that anyone with a Sonnet card who is having any problems that may be related to it should replace the Sonnet extension with the one from PowerLogix. - Aaron >To: <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> (SuperMacs List) >Date: Thu, 10 Oct 2002 16:29:57 -0700 >From: "J.
