Older ATI 8mb Xclaim 3D Rage Pro(and 4mb cards!) are one of the easiest 
cards to use for installing OSX! There are no PCI slot or other issues 
it just works! I used one for OSX for over 2 years! The ATI 128 and 
newer cards are the one which gave ATI a bad name with OSX. They 
weren't really usable until OS 10.1.5 and newer. This didn't get 
mentioned a lot because they weren't available very often to buy and 
were expensive.

Maybe it will get easier in the future but doing an install of OSX on a 
C500/600 isn't going to be anything like installing OS 8/9. People also 
need to know that at this time L2 G3/4 upgrades will not work with OSX. 
  The 603 cpu (slow!)and the much rarer Zif  G3 /4 upgraded C500/600 
machines are the ones that can run OSX. later Will S
