I can't remember Jeff, I didn't have a support group like this back then,
and I ended up giving it to someone for parts. It was the first Mac I really
liked though, and I remember it fondly as a real usable box.

Yes, you nailed it, no expandability and limited VRAM. My LC475 filled the
void for Internet access quite well, but it wasn't till later when I finally
bought a PPC 7200 that I felt that the old Iici could be truly replaced.
It's funny how we sometimes latch onto a certain machine and find it hard to
replace. The pizza box Macs were a trend that I gladly forget in Apple's
history. The LC630 was another that I loathed. It is certainly expandability
that makes me want to hang onto a machine, and the S900 found a place in my
heart as a result. I now have two Apple G4's... A 466 Digital Audio, and an
867 QuickSilver, so I'm quite happy, again. Yet my S900 is still a contender
and I'll not put it to rest yet.

I revived (practically rebuilt) a 4400/200 that I wouldn't wish upon anyone
after having worked on it so much. What the heck was Apple thinking when
they produced the 4400? I sold it to a coworker, and he still reminds me
about what a piece that thing was.
