Kim you are better off switching to the latest Toast Titanium 5.0.2. 
Toast 4.1.2 gave me problems. Conflict Catcher found a conflict. The 
only way for me to use Toast 4.1.2 was to install it with a stripped 
down OS 9.1 file without extra extensions. Toast worked OK then. 
Roxio had a users list and Toast 4.1.2 problems to the list were 
frequent. The universal advice was to upgrade to Toast Titanium.  I 
later found out that Mac B&W G3 rev. 1 had bad FireWire ports and 
they would work for a while and then crap out. If you go to the Apple 
support page and register, there are no less than 176 posts about NG 
FireWire in a Mac G3, rev. 1 B&W.  For that I installed an Adaptec 
4300 FireWire PCI card. Good luck.
