Umax S900 School Graduation Announcement ! To all who have followed my adventures at the Umax school of head busting - Success has arrived in the form of a stuck restart switch !
Always the small things that bit you in the back end. I had tore down with care dusted out the case but never thought to address the almost never used front restart or program switches. Just as a hunch I pressed and the contact seemed funny so I tried several more times still funny, sprayed electronic contact cleaner and muck flowed out and switch soon began to feel ok. Power up and BINGO. So a word to the wise clean / dust / spray or your video will seem to go away, yet another Umax S900 lives another day. Thank you all for the kind words and help.
