Help! All of a sudden I am having trouble getting on-line... I haven't changed any of my settings... But it takes me about 7 times of dialing in to get on line, if then. Every time I get a message that it "can't connect to the server" & I need to check the dial-up# with a regular phone to see if I hear the tone... I called Sprint, my ISP, they said it is the phone line or my modem/or/settings. Called Sprint, my local phone co. Of course, They said it's not there phone lines.
Then when I wanted to check my settings... & click on the control panel "Remote Access" or "modem" I get another message *can't find "appleguideglulib". So I can't check any settings... I remember someone else getting that last error a while back. Could that person please let me know what they did? Since a find on other hard drives doesn't find it... where do you get it from? How can you be missing it if you haven't deleted anything? Also, I had tried to reload "Internet Access" & "Apple Remote Access" from my OS 9.1 CD-ROM & it kept Freezing-up my HD, (That is the same Cd I used to load OS 9.1 onto my HD) did that 3 times, (yes I tried with extensions OFF) then tried to use TomeViewer1 to extract/open them. But when I would click on either of those folders, nothing would be in them that I could click on to extract/open. Can anyone please help here?
