It is indeed, you can run a line out from your receiver's tape output to the
mic input on your computer. It's generally not recommended that you go
directly from the turntable to the mic input due to the low output of a
turntable cartridge. Running your turntable through a phono input on your
receiver, and then using a line out such as a tape output, gives the proper
gain to allow the signal to be recorded at normal levels on your computer.
