Robert,

Both Howie and Robyn are much more knowledgeable of this than I am...

But I am using a simple cable I picked up at Radio Shack.  (around $4.95 
US)  It connects to the Headphones jack on my ancient stereo system, and 
the sound input jack on the computer.
