Ahhhh, the emergency external hard drive.  That is an excellent 
suggestion, especially since all Mac's up through the Beige (and 
excluding the Mac 128,  512 and Duos) have a built-in SCSI port. 
It's been so long since I've thought in terms of external drives, I 
had completely forgotten about it.  I've been trying to fit 
everything in one case for a while and donated most of my external 
drive enclosures to the Goodwill Computer Store.
