Jess, to answer your question, no, I haven't tried grub, but right now I can't because the machine doesn't know it has a bootable hard disk volume, in fact, it really doesn't know it has anything at all, hence the need for an EPROM programmer. However, if it did, I would certainly give grub a try. Thanks for the tip.
