If you talking about the upper drive bay that contains the CD-ROM, the
entire assemby needs to be slid out.
Better yet, the operation is a lot easier if the cube is removed from
the case by unclipping various cables.
There is a tiny retaining screw on the lower front that releases the bay/cube.

But before any of this is possible, you first need to remove the left
side panel (if u r facing the front) and then un-clip to remove the
front panel.
