I'm the one who found the Power-on power supply and ATX adapter cable. I purchased both (the cable is discounted if you buy it with the power supply) and they work great. Yes, there is an extra connector that is not used, as verified with power-on tech support. Not the cheapest solution, but it works great, easy to put together and has a warranty.
