Loaded OWC's 1.0b7 upgrade (from 9.1 to 9.2.1, then 9.2.2), but halfway through the 9.2.2 final phase, the system locked up. Did a restart, but now every attempt to restart returned the error notice "file system map inconsistent", and admonishes "to temporarily turn off extensions, restart and hold down the shift key." Did this, to no avail! I have 9.1 installed on another internal drive, but don't recall how to force the start-up to go to that second drive: Anybody have a method to accomplish this? The primary drive has InTech's latest drivers aboard, but the secondary one (which I can't get the S900 to restart on) has Apple's latest on it... Is there a key combination to get me restarted on the other 9.1 drive? And what's the bet way to handle the problem on the one that's screwed up? Simply try a reinstall of the 9.2.2 OWC update? Or do I have to reload the 9.1, and then redo the entire OWC program of updating? FYI - the original Mitsu 506 CD drive is presently non-functional (possible physical damage), and I've been networking off my G4/933 to load the system software. All help - as usual - would be most gratefully appreciated! Steve Phillips Two Harbors, Minnesota
