I'll agree with almost everything you've said, as a loyal cloner myself (S900). There's still the issue of a slow system bus on the SuperMac. That's a problem that we can't "work-around". Jaguar runs well but slowly off of it's committed ATA drive on my machine. OS 9.1 runs faster and trouble-free off of it's own SCSI drive... I much prefer OSX though. And you're right about the money factor... a dollar spent is a dollar lost if it's thrown at the name on the case instead of what's inside of the case! I know more about my machine because I built it... I probably couldn't say that if it had been an out-of-the-box deal on a new G4 system. Don't get me wrong here... Id love to have one of those gorgeous new machines... I just can't see spending the money for one... and I definitely WON'T go to a Windows machine! I'm not the follower type!
