Hi Janzoo, There really is no place to buy or download the system CD that originally came with your machine. Your s900 will not boot from the 8.5 software disk because of the CD-ROM drive itself. (others can probably explain that better than I) See if you can find a OS 7.5 or 8.0 or 8.1 system CD. It should boot just fine from any of those. You can then upgrade to 8.5 later. You can install up through 9.1 without any problems. Pretty much everything else on the original system CD that came with the machine is outdated. Hope that helps.
