Hi there: Two things, A) and 2). (FYI, I have a C500/240 happily running 8.6 with 112 MB RAM.)
A) I have Norton Utilities 3.5, and recently downloaded the 3.5.2 updates. (And my 71 Plymouth runs pretty well, thank you.) But in order to run Norton Disk Doctor and Speed Disk, isn't it better to run them from the CD than from the HD? Which means the updates wouldn't be available...? 2) I have decided I have been living on the dge for too long, and want to install a virus program. My father can get Virex for $30 as opposed to (I think) $50. Is Virex any good or should I ante up and get Norton Anti-Virus? -- Bill Spencer in cold, snowy NH -- SuperMacs is sponsored by <http://lowendmac.com/> and...
