I thought all cd readers mounted different sessions as separate
volumes - I have a Traxdata 6x and a Matsushita 24x and a Toshiba 12x and
they all do it. The only bug I've found with using non oem cd drives is
the internal audio connection which is four pin mac (two ground) and
apparently 3 pin everybody else...(well - the cd's I have anyway) so none
of them are connected to the internal audio. Not a problem on the Umax as
the headphone jackplug is easy to access - but the mac bezel designs
gives access problems.
