That's very odd then, as the same CDR (in the Matshita drive and using the Umax-supplied driver) mounted as a singe volume with all the files burnt over several sessions present! I only found this problem when I had to change the driver to one which would support the Plextor - I've ditched it now that I have a LaCie firewire jobbie.
