lI purchased 5 of the Big Claw AEC-6260M PCI Ultra ATA 66 adapter cards for MAC. Have come up with a problem. I downloaded the update 3.21 for the card and ran the update. I still have the following message when I open Toast Deluxe 4.1.2 or Toast Titanium see below:
The Drive reported an error Sense Key = Hardware Error Sense Code = 0X08, 0X03 Logical Unit Communication Failure I am using a Umax S900 MAC Clone with MAC OS 9.1.1 , with a G3 300mhz upgrade, 400mb RAM, Adaptec 2930 cu SCSI card for all SCSI devices, a Polaroid MAX48 CD-RW plugged into the card. I have a Sonnet ATA 100 PCI card which I installed and do not have any problems or error messages. BTW the Polaroid reads and mounts audio and data CD's without any problems. Please advise any information that anyone may have if the card can not handle the new high speed CD-RW drives as I have quite a few of them that I want to install with this card.
