Olli-Matti, This is interesting. I have had memory problems (freezes) when running Jaguar on my J700. I'm quite sure that I've told Neal what kind of memory that I am using (I'm using 128 Mb EDO memory), and he never told me that it was a problem. In fact, I've been consistently told by Sonnet that "whatever memory is acceptable in the original machine can be used with Sonnet's accelerator cards."
But also, I've read (or was told) that EDO is a superset of fast-paged memory, so EDO is actualy FP memory anyway. Perhaps enough people like us have called Sonnet's tech support that they have finally decided that not all memory can work with their machine. What SuperMac model are you running Jaguar on? I have a J700 with 4 128 Mb EDO DIMMs, a Radeon 7000 Mac Edition video card, and a Maxtor drive connected to a Tempo Trio card. I finally got Jaguar running about a month ago, and the only problem that I have is random freezes of the entire system. Perhaps you have discovered the problem that my machine has.
