Uh, ehm, may I drop in? Yes, you're right, only the primary will work, the
secondary won't even fit in any case, because it's built "upside down".
If you have the primary card, it should work in any other Mac with CPU card
slot (well, not sure about the "Kansas" machines), you just have to place
the jumpers like this:

There's nothing else you can do with the pins, the card is not adjustable -
without soldering.
