Hey everyone! Just wanted to say hello to the list. I'm new here, but not new to my SuperMac S900 200mHz! Pretty much got it right before they closed out SuperMac. I'm running 9.1 with three internals (the original 2gb, a 100gb [ide] and a 4gb) I've got the ram jacked to 528mb (it's Frankenstein ram, all sorts...), got the ide card to run the drive and a HP 8x CD-ROM burner. Plus, I have a D-Link 10/100 Ethernet card. Finally, got a dual monitor set up going with a ATI Rage Orion and the original Twin Turbo IX 128, both hooked to 2 17" Sony 200GS'
I'm considering putting in a upgrade processor card, but am confused as what may be my best option. I like the G4's speed. I am NOT considering making the Mac OS X running. I eventually will get another Mac for that, and then will probably turn this S900 into a MacHTTP server. So what's out there for the G4 cards? Essentially I want to know what to avoid, and what if any are the limitations?
