No it's not a new setup. I think it was abut a year ago when I purchased
the ext. Modem. That was the most recent change. But these problems are new.
You may have touched on the right thing on the modem though,
when I restart, maybe it's not resetting. I will try "unhooking"
(Since my modem has NO On/Off switch) the modem between restarts next
time & see if it clears up that problem.

Well, I guess I will take that leap then... I had been pretty happy with
Netscape 4.7.... Until the last couple of months.
I think I will probably endup doing that "classic" thing also.
