DIskwarrior can be very slow, and step 6 is the longest step in the process.
Just let it run, and don't cancel it... let it run overnight if you need to.
Diskwarrior may not have many options, and may be a rather "simple" program, but I consider it the best tool for Macintosh repair on the market.
