The next obvious question is, can you use just that guy's 266MHz ZIF CPU
alone and put it in your ZIF slot that's already on the C500's motherboard? No,
it's a different kind of ZIF.
Is there a publishable (or slide under the tablable) pinout for the C series ZIF socket available? If one could find the darned ZIF pin header & matrix (hunted high and low and can't find that thing) it probably wouldn't be that hard to whip up a C series ZIF to Beige ZIF adapter. It's probably not worth the effort, but Sierra ProtoExpress will do 2 four layer boards for about $135.
