It certainly hasn't covered any new ground. One can read the same basic thread all the way back to 1986 or earlier on comp.sys.mac.advocacy....


It started out okay in the first two posts. It is certainly a good point that the least expensive new model does not provide all the whizzies that the more expensive two models do.

For my part, I'm disappointed that there is only one 5.25" drive bay, a terribly small number of 3.5" bays, and only three PCI slots were the previous generation of machine from Apple had four PCI slots. I thought Apple had finally figured out the slot thing.
