Linux is FREELY distributed, but they want $49 for Red Hat 8 and Lindows is
about $89. It isn't supposed to be FREE. People who add patches do so for no
remuneration. But the licensors are now asking for money for production
costs. See the websites.

And however old 7.5.3 may be, it's the best FREE OS for many 68k Macs. And
you can upgrade it to 7.5.5. for 1st Power Macs if you got no cash for a
more modern OS.

Again, I'm grateful to Apple. A dozen of my most enjoyable oldies live
happily ever-after on OS 7.5.3. And I paid nada for the priviledge.
