Hi, and thanks for the info. Couldn't find anything under the link you mentioned but keeping it for future reference. I want a MAC ROM unit because they support booting from a system CD. I just do not know what type of CD-ROM drive originally came in the powermac's 7200-9600 (and, for that matter, www.applehistory.com seems to be down?). Help, anybody?
