Ok...I have the same router I think... Belkin 4 port. The "firewall"
protection comes from the router...it assigns a IP to each computer
connected that is different that your provider's. If you are a hacker you
can't see past the provider's IP. That way anyone trying to hack into your
computer can't. thay can't see your router's IP. It is not a real
firewall...it is more like a trick.

you are probably even more confused...
