I bought a 64 mb chip from OWC and installed it in my C500. The computer booted just fine, but after a few minutes it locked up. I attempted to reboot the machine but it would not because of a bus error. Attempting to boot with extensions off did not resolve the issue - only removing the chip did. I have OS 9 and OS 8.6 installed on the computer and the problem occurs with both systems. The only modifications to the machine is that it has pulled Apple HD (4 gb IDE) and CD-ROM (SCSI), both with Apple ROMs. I also have an 8 meg stick in the other RAM slot. Any suggestions?

Thanks,

Tony
