I am wondering if it is possible to save the Mac firmware from a
Mystique 220, so that it can be used for flashing a PC version of the
same card; if that be the case the video performace of the C500 would of
course improve significantly.

Is there a utility which will read and save the firmware from the Matrox cards? If not, and if the Flash chip on the 220 is in a socket, then someone could mail me the chip off of a Mac Mystique 220 card and I can read the contents of the chip directly and return the chip. I have a chip reader/programmer.
