Simply put, with money not being an object; what's the absolute best/fastest/most stable videocard you can put into a C600 (w/G3 card running 9.2.2)?

The card that matches your criterion would be the Radeon Mac Edition. Faster then the Radeon 7000 and sold for $200.00 when new. Sadly ATI removed it from the market when they started selling the slower 7000 model but it's more reasonable at $129.00 retail. So the Mac ed Radeon is only available on the used market. In the currently available cards area. The Sapphire ATI PC Radeon PCI DDR 64 MB card when flashed to a Mac maybe the best currently available. It is only sold in Japan and Europe and sometimes on Ebay. I love mine which i was lucky enough to get shipped from the UK by a list member. The 32 mb Sapphire card which is equal to the Radeon 7000 is sold for the bargain price of $39.00 including shipping in the USA. It does of course have to be flashed on a PC.
Video cards which would be great in your machine also include any ATI 128 Video card (mac versions of course). Which can be found on the used market. Villagetronic also sells a nice 8mb card but it's over priced in my opinion at $99.00 . I'm not so sure the C600 could really take advantage of the Mac Edition Radeon card. I'd likely buy and flash a Sapphire 32mb card or buy a used ATI 128 16mb card for this machine. later Will S
