The only reference I have for flash-upgrading this card to a Mac version is as follows:
<http://aex.org/mac/7000.html>

I will be doing the flash on an old windows box (Win 98) salvaged from a school dumpster.

Any caveats, advice, warnings and supplemental websites are welcome. I also need advice on which slot is best to install it in, especially if I decide to keep both video cards installed.

There is an easier way to do this. There is a one-step method that does everything on the PC - no need to do a 2nd update on the Mac under OS 9.

Also, I could not boot my PC with 2 video cards installed, so I just used the Radeon 7000 card with the monitor attached to it. It works fine this way, because DOS doesn't use the ROM code on the card.

I have the single-step flash file here, and can email it to you if you need it.

Dan
