I bought the Adaptec 2940UW from MacResq and they claim on their Web site that with an update from Adaptec it will work with OSX.
I couldn't get one to work in either an S900 or an B&W G4 that I have. Their utilities saw the card OK, but I couldn't get it to see a drive attached to it. I eventually gave up on it and got another IDE card instead.
SCSI sucks!
