Hi Kim,
I bought Panther from the Apple store for $129 USD. I installed it on 2 different hard drives in my G3, my G3 700 MHz iBook and right now I just started (5:30 PM) the install on my SuperMac G4 450 MHz using of course XpostFacto version 3.0a11. You must use XPF. But I got stuck with a screen with a circle with a line through it.

This happened to friend too and when we went to MacWorld, I introduced Ryan Rempel (the author of XPF) to my friend. Ryan Rempel is very friendly and he helped out. I have to ask my friend how he solved that if in fact he did. I didn't catch the explanation(-: I don't know but hopefully I'll get some kind of answer.

Thanks for the info Eric! Please make sure you find out the answer to that "> screen with a circle with a line through it" & let us all know!!!

Later, kim :-)
