        Okay, I'm not a knowledgeable
person about these things, but
I've had similar problems, so
I'll take a stab and then
everybody else can correct my errors.
        I've had this happen twice
after installing new hardware.
The first time, it was solved
by zapping the PRAM. (hold
down command, option, p, & r
while restarting. Hold it
down until the machine chimes
3 or 4 times) The last time I
had the problem, some kind
soul on this site suggested
that I take the processor card
out and reseat it. I took the
card out, took the processor
off the carrier card, and put
it all back together. (you
should probably do something
to protect against static
discharge while doing this)
Maybe resetting the CUDA would
help also.
Just my 2 cents worth. Hope
it helps

Mike
