Actually, a fully maxed out S900 will just just over 1GB total DRAM --
1,040MB (1,024 + 16 = 1,040) -- although most of the Marketing materials
stated 1GB for the S900 (hey, I did what I could).  The memory on the logic
board remains active even with all 8 DIMM slots filled.

The S910, on the other hand, which had no memory on the logic board,
therefore maxed out at slightly less than an S900 -- exactly 1GB (1,024MB).
(The S910 also had a removable L2 Cache DIMM, which made it a bit more
compatible with some early G3 upgrades.  These memory changes and the
vertical reversal of the PCI slots were the the S910's only realy
distinctions.)
