Alan that does sound like a great deal. You would be looking at $40 or $50 to ship one of those monsters. And, that is a very acceptable page count.
I picked up a used LaserWriter a little over a year ago, for doing cheap B&W printing at our shop. It has nearly paid for itself already. My rough estimates are that the LW produces pages at about a third the cost at Kinko's, for doing mass quantity simple one and two sided printing.
Our LW is very happy on the router, being shared by the various computers.
