Panther is all about small changes and refinement. No big changes like from 10.1 to 10.2 . My first install was bad from the beginning. I had a lot of work to do so went back to Jaguar since it works so well. I finally had time to work on Panther. I did a new install and all is well...

Hi Will-

Thanks for the info.
Did you notice any speed increase with Panther? I have the install disks from my Powerbook and I've been itching to give it a try on the S900. I could not overcome the loss of some of my SCSI drives with Jaguar including the loss of my scanner. My solution was to get another S900 and run those drives and scanner from it using 9.2.2. I could not get my ATTO fast SCSI card to upgrade either... I guess every gain also brings a loss. But Jaguar is a great upgrade for the S900. When something freezes at least everything else still runs... except very occasionally,..
