Hello all -

Has anyone ever tried installing a ZIP 100 drive into one of the two "narrow"
bays that lie immediately below the 2 "full-width" (CD) bays in an s900?

I have a ZIP 100 internal that I found on ebay to replace a dead ZIP in my
9600, but was wondering if it might do better in the s900 instead - IF it can
go into one of the narrow bays.

I see that the little plastic "flap" on the right side (as you face the front
of the computer) extends slightly over the full width of the ZIP, but it
_looks like_ one could still get the ZIP disks themselves in and out of the
slot on the front of the drive.

Just wondering if anyone has done such an installation, and if there any
problems encountered.

Also, has anyone ever tried using an IDE ZIP 100 mated to an ATA/PCI card? Did
it work?

Thanks,
- John
