I have an internal Zip 100 SCSI mounted in the bay below the two large CD bays. It went in with no 
problems. You do need the power adapter plug, which you either have from your old unit or should 
have with the one you bought. No experience with IDE ZIPs but remember others have posted they do 
work. The fromt Bezel that came with my Zip fit perfectly in the space on the S900. Paul
